Gauntlet thrown! Deion Sanders faces off against Justin Bieber in the latest episode of Lip Sync Battle, and he brought the heat in a major way. 

The NFL great, 47, surprised the show’s New York City studio audience with his choice of Madonna‘s 1984 classic “Like a Virgin.” He then slipped into a white wedding dress for his performance, truly committing to the role. 

Sanders sported a blonde curly wig with a white veil and wore a voluminous white tulle skirt with a white long-sleeved top. The athlete upped the ante and nodded to the iconic original music video and star-making MTV VMA performance by layering Madonna-inspired white beaded necklaces over his top.

Accompanied by backup dancers and an oversized wedding cake, the famed sportsman wriggled and writhed on the ground as he sang the immortal lyrics, “I’ll be yours / ‘Till the end of time / ‘Cause you made me feel / Yeah, you made me feel / I’ve nothing to hide / Like a virgin, hey / Touched for the very first time.”

The star, who also played professional baseball, put on an impressive performance but his win is not quite guaranteed. As previously reported, Sanders’ competitor Bieber also stunned with his effort on Lip Sync Battle. The young Biebs, 21, whipped out Fergie‘s “Big Girls Don’t Cry” and Ozzy Osbourne‘s “Crazy Train” for his time on the stage.
